Cornwall is a great county to visit. The Eden Project is about 45 minutes away, you will find historic castles, picture postcard villages and an abundance of attractions.

We are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which boasts fabulous beaches for swimming, surfing and sandcastles, many flying the blue flag awarded for cleanliness.

Cornwall being a long thin county, visitors will find themselves within roughly an hour, easy car journey, of a variety of scenery. The north coast is beautifully rugged, the moors for walking, flanked on the other side by the gentler south coast and its gardens. The area hosts facilities galore for horse riding, golf, sea and river fishing, diving, almost anything that you care for.

Cornwall attracts individuals, independent people and hence the arts. Many villages host their own art shows, right up the scale to the St Ives National Art Gallery. You will find potters, painters, sculptures and musicians. Indeed, Bude has a fabulous week celebration of jazz in August, with daily or weekly stroller tickets to go anywhere to see anyone (and what names to see!) for one price!
